At Evergreen Coaching and Consulting, we come alongside churches in difficult or transitional seasons to restore healthy leadership and build a strong future. Whether you’re dealing with an unhealthy pastor, elder concerns, staff transitions, leadership misconduct, or the need for clearer vision and culture, we provide discerning evaluations, strategic partnering, elder development, pastoral counseling, and practical restoration plans.
Led by Tim Bice and Kirk McDonald, our approach is hands-on and concierge-style — available almost like temporary elders who walk with you through the heavy lifting on the front end and equip your team for long-term health. We help with written communication, meeting planning, staff structure, elder applicant assessments, pastoral care plans, and connecting you with trusted resources (counselors, coaches, and more).
Our goal is simple: bring clarity, hope, and biblical restoration so your church can thrive again.
What does it involve?
We begin with a free, no-obligation consultation to listen carefully and understand your church’s unique situation. From there, we’ll develop a fully customized proposal designed specifically for you.
Our consulting engagements typically run from 3 to 12 months, depending on the needs of your church. Each partnership includes onsite visits, regular strategic partnering calls, and concierge-style availability so we can respond quickly and support you when it matters most. Everything we do is thoughtfully tailored to help your church navigate its specific crisis with wisdom, care, and lasting restoration.
How does it work?
It’s simple and very personal:
- Free Consultation
We start with a no-pressure call (usually 30–45 minutes) where we listen to your story and learn what your church is facing. - Custom Proposal
We then create a proposal tailored specifically to your situation — including the right number of onsite visits, strategic partnering calls, and support. - We Walk With You
Once you say yes, we begin. You receive:
- Onsite visits (usually 1–3)
- Regular strategic partnering calls (weekly at the beginning, then bi-monthly)
- Concierge-style availability — we’re reachable by text or phone when something urgent comes up
Everything is customized to your church’s unique crisis. Most churches work with us for 3 to 12 months, depending on what’s needed.
Our goal is straightforward: walk alongside you through the hard season and help your church come out healthier, stronger, and more unified on the other side.
