From Recruiting to Installing to Leading
Healthy, biblically qualified elders are essential to the long-term health and faithfulness of any church. At Evergreen Coaching and Consulting, we walk alongside churches through the full process of elder development — from identifying and recruiting the right men, to intentional training and equipping, to a thoughtful and biblical installation that sets them up to lead well.
We help you build a unified, healthy elder team that shepherds with integrity, humility, and gospel-centered care. Whether you’re starting from scratch or strengthening an existing elder team, our strategic partnering provides the coaching, resources, and practical guidance your church needs to develop faithful leaders who will serve your congregation for years to come.
What does it involve?
Our Elder Development Coaching is a practical, ongoing partnership designed to help your church build and maintain a healthy, biblically qualified elder team. For $200 per month, you receive:
- Bi-monthly coaching calls with Tim or Kirk to guide your team through the entire process
- Proven processes and step-by-step guidance for recruiting, training, and installing elders
- Elder expectations documents and templates (clear standards, assessment tools, training materials, installation outlines, etc.)
- Culture building to foster joy in serving alongside each other as a unified elder team
- One onsite visit where we assess potential elder candidates alongside your team — this also serves as hands-on training so your church can confidently repeat the process in the future
Travel expenses for the onsite visit are additional and billed separately.
Everything is customized to your church’s size, culture, and current needs. Our goal is to equip you to develop faithful, unified elders who lead your church with integrity and joy for years to come.
